Please spread the word that a Permanent STF (subject to furlough) Lead Fire
Effects Monitor position (biological science technician, GS-0404-06/07) at
Shenandoah National Park is now being announced on USA Jobs.  The job will
be open today until March 16, 2012.

This position serves as the lead for a vegetation monitoring crew that
works at Shenandoah National Park and parks throughout the Northeast and
National Capitol Regions.  The crew works in a wide range of ecosystems
from Virginia to Maine.   The position offers an opportunity for a blend of
ecological and botanical experience and prescribed fire and wildland fire
operations.
