Hi, forest pest mavens & others!
 
Please check out my new blog on the history of shipping containers - which  
have allowed both atmospheric rise in volume of goods shipped and transport 
of  lots of tree-killing insects in wood packaging.  The blog suggests 
steps  that governments and commercial entities can take to minimize the 
presence of  insects, snails, and other (potential) invasive species.
