Announcement in Chesapeake Network:

The Student Conservation Association is seeking conservation projects for a
crew of 6 high school students and 1 leader between July 6th and August
7th.  Due to a delay in funding several of the planned trail projects for
this timeframe have been delayed. As a result we are seeking hands on
conservation projects including trail maintenance and construction,
invasive plant removal, habitat restoration, landscaping, gardening or
urban farming for this crew.  They have a vehicle and can commute within a
reasonable distance from the DC metro area.  Partners with projects would
need to provide SCA with a cost share to offset the cost of paying members
and transportation.  The crew members and leaders are recruited from the
local area, have prior experience and have gone through SCA training.  For
