[MAIPC] mapping program suggestions?

  I have a Nikon Coolpix P520 camera with GPS.  I am having problems navigating Lightroom to map and organize photos.  My goal is to map photos and be able to associate photos with GPS points.  Does anyone have suggestions for a more intuitive program or package than Lightroom?                                                                             Richard Gardner
