Dear forest pest mavens,

I have posted a blog at _www.cisp.us_ (http://www.cisp.us) that discusses
the International Union for Conservation of Nature's tree specialist group
and its efforts to assess the status of tree species around the world. I
hope that scientists in the various "silos" - IUCN groups, Endangered
Species Act listers, forest health experts, and plant pest experts - might join
their efforts to create a well-rounded evaluation of the many threats to
tree species and the ecosystems they play such a role in forming.

Please share the post with your colleagues.

Faith Campbell
