[MAIPC] water starwort (Callitriche sp.) question

We have water starwort slowly expanding along the edges of a public pond in
Princeton, NJ. Photos at this post

show the extent five years after having been discovered. Doesn't seem as
big a threat as other species, and identification still awaits as to
whether it's native or the introduced C. stagnalis. Has anyone seen a large
scale invasion?
