Like Marc Imlay, I also would recommend Invasive Plant Control (IPC) as a
company for invasive plant management. In addition, I also strongly
recommend that Dominion connect with Earth Sangha, a Northern
Virginia-based non-profit, for their expertise in local native plants and
ecosystem restoration. Earth Sangha has worked on meadow restoration
projects and they run a local native plant nursery. Like many of us here in
Northern Virginia, I am sure they view the W&OD Railroad trail and park as
am important asset, and I expect they would be very interested in talking
with Dominion about this concept. And I personally am very pleased to hear
that Dominion is considering this kind of approach.

Earth Sangha's website is: http://www.earthsangha.org/

and their key people are Chris and Lisa Bright, cbright at earthsangha.org and
lbright at earthsangha.org

Cheers,

Steve Young, VA
