[MAIPC] House & Senate actions to fund APHIS & USFS tree pest programs

Dear forest pest mavens,
 
Both the House and Senate Appropriations Committees have adopted bills to  
fund both APHIS & USFS.  The bills show widely varying perceptions of  the 
importance of funding various components of the agencies' forest pest  
programs. In some cases, the Senate provides more funding than the House,  in 
other cases the reverse occurs.  
 
I also grumble about the Administration's allocation of funds for these  
programs ...
