Dear Forest Health Colleagues-

I am writing to cordially invite you to the 13th Continental Dialogue on Non-native Forest Insects and Disease! Please join us November 9 – 10, 2017 (with optional field trips on the 8th), in Savannah Georgia. Our speakers will include representatives and researchers from the US Forest Service, USDA Animal Plant Health Inspection Service, Universities around the country, state forestry agencies, and a variety of non-profit groups. You will find the most current agenda, hotel information, and instructions for registration at this link: https://continentalforestdialogue.org/continental-dialogue-meeting-november-2017/  Please note the discount hotel block closes October 16th! Don’t delay.

We are pleased to be coordinating our meeting with the Annual Gypsy Moth Review, including joint social hours on Wednesday and Thursday evenings, as well as a combined session on Thursday morning. Many thanks to our colleagues with the AGMR, we really appreciate it.

If you have any questions about the meeting, please contact me, Leigh, atLGreenwood at tnc.org. If you need a copy of the agenda for any reason, you can download it here:https://continentalforestdialogue.files.wordpress.com/2017/09/continental-dialogue-2017-agenda-v27september2017_public.pdf

Hotel reservation at USG rate is still available through the Gypsy Moth meeting; a link is available at the conference site.  This rate expires on Friday - so don't delay!

Please join me there!

There is an opportunity to tour the Port of Savannah - a huge port that receives & ships out millions of containers per year, plus vehicles large and small at the roll-on roll-off terminal.  I toured the port last May - found it very interesting!

Faith
