Mike McGrath of NPR's You Bet Your Garden is again spouting misinformation about native and introduced plants, most recently on his March 31 show. I transcribed his answer to a question about planting natives, and added an "embedded critique<https://newscompanion.blogspot.com/2018/04/dont-bet-your-garden-on-mike-mcgraths.html>", pointing out all the poorly reasoned assertions and even some demogoguery.
At least he acknowledges the existence of Doug Tallamy, but there's resentment of science and ecology mixed in.
