Hi,
Another great company I worked with when I was at Reston Association is Gone Native Landscapes. They did a great job to restore and naturalize a damaged natural area. They are out of Maryland. Brad Motter: bmotterb at aol.com<mailto:bmotterb at aol.com> is who I worked with.

Warm wishes,
Patricia

If you haven’t received any other specific ideas you might try contacting Jonathan Kays with U of M Ag and Natural Resources.

I guess I should have included that the property is in Montgomery County Maryland!

Not exactly on topic, but a local HOA contacted me to ask if I knew of anyone who does forest management who could work with them on I am working with them on a stormwater management project, but I've got nothing for them for landscaping or maintaining forest areas.

Here was the request:

Can you suggest a landscaping or forestry company that could help us plan and manage our wooded areas? Our Board is writing an RFP for a long-range master plan for our grounds, and we’d like the RFP to go to a company or companies with expertise in more than just landscaping, with credentials and a track record with woods.

I think they have about 16 acres of managed woodlands. It's quite hilly, so there isn't any lawn area.
