Garlic Mustard piling
According to Cynthia Huebher, no live invasive plants should be left on the
forest floor, because they will change the chemical structure of the soil.

We have pulled GM for the last 21 years.
If you cannot bag and throw it in the landfill, you can pile GM up on a
large rock, but with a lot of rain some will still continue to grow.
Spreading it out on the trail does the same: isome will continue to grow. I
used to hang small bunches in trees over the branches in such a way that
they were anchored and would not fall on the ground. This works but people
think it rather unsightly.

When the plants are really dead and dried up, you can spread them around in
between the other plants or make a pile on some dead branches.Big piles
will of course prohibit other native plants to grow,
The best is really to bag all of it, but you can spread out the plants
around on the trail or somewhere where nothing valuable gets trampled. Let
them dry up first in the sun for a few hours and bag them.
