[MAIPC] Sign On to Del. Alonzo Washington Letter to Oppose the MAGLEV Train - by 5 p.m. February 19!

There are several issues here. First of all, it’s not just the rail line but an expansive maintenance yard that they want to put in some of our finest natural areas. This will also bring invasive plants into these pristine areas. And this is no ordinary rail line. This is not mass transit. It will pass through and not stop in Prince Georges communities, limiting the number and class of people who can use it, and the fare price will be prohibitive. This is a boondoggle that will waste money and take away from real mass transit projects.
