You shouldn't mention bid competitors IPC (or anyone for that matter...just flat out ask for names), that might dissuade some perfectly knowledgeable and professional Company from submitting for consideration. Many times bidders/bids are blind and kept under wraps for fear of negatively or unfairly affecting results.

I am looking for good contractors who focus on removing invasive plants and are willing to do work on a severely overgrown residential property in Chevy Chase (Montgomery County), Maryland. The work would be performed this fall (invasive vines, young trees, shrubs, some herbaceous plants) and late winter (lesser celandine/Ficaria verna). Ideally, some native woody and herbaceous plants buried under the mess can be saved, but that might not be possible.

The homeowners already plan to get a quote from Invasive Plant Control (IPC), but want to choose among two to three proposals. The couple isn't interested in regular landscapers that happen to do some invasive plant removal.

Can you please recommend some contractors?

 Thanks,
 Judy
