All
Because there are so many Viburnums out there I made the attached for our area; it may be useful. I have had good luck controlling viburnums by cutting and tarping. They seem to die more quickly under a tarp than bush honeysuckle.

There are a few of these in our Princeton, NJ nature preserve that were probably planted many decades ago and persist, but just today I was noticing one blooming where I hadn't seen one before, and wondered if they are starting to spread. It might also be that it's been there all along and is finally getting enough sun to flower now that so many ashes are dying.

Did anyone else see this plant this spring? Is it on anybody's watch or action lists?
Species is apparently chindo or shasta viburnum, Viburnum plicatum
