So how fast is powdery mildew Erysiphe cruciferarum moving around in
Maryland? Who can move it around? How host specific and native is it of
course? Marc

Hi,

Our botanist found this article about powdery mildew:

https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/21636376/

It sounds like it may be impacting growth of the invasive. Yay!

I will share with our team the information about posting on Eddmaps when
seeing the garlic mustard aphids.

Thank you,

Patricia

Thanks all! I just entered this in EDDMaps - and alerted my volunteers as
well.

You are probably seeing garlic mustard aphids (Lipaphis alliarae). Holden
Forests and Gardens in Kirtland Ohio is encouraging mapping (to EDDMapS) and
observation efforts. Contact Becah Troutman at rtroutman at holdenfg.org

Nope but I've seen Garlic Mustard with LOTS of little grey bugs on it -
especially on the tips and siliques - and been meaning to ask if others have
seen this!

Hi,

Has anyone been seeing this mildew on garlic mustard? See attached photo.
Any knowledge of a biocontrol like this?

Thank you,
