I wrote an email to him (very positive and friendly, thanking him for his organic gardening years) about it including facts such as the detrimental effects on butterflies and ideas on telling people about alternatives, etc. I never heard from him in response. I've heard him talk about other invasives, not always acknowledging that they are a problem plant. I think the more people contact him about the issue, the better, and hopefully he will be more helpful going forward. A similar frustrating problem is permaculture - one would think they are against invasive non-natives, but not all permaculturists are (maybe most are not, at least the people I have spoken/debated with.)<br><div id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1462845751328_30312"><span></span></div><div id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1462845751328_31043"> </div><div id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1462845751328_31045" class="signature"><div id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1462845751328_31044"><span style="font-family:times new roman, new york, times, serif;color:rgb(0, 127, 64);">Cheryl Joy Lipton</span><span style="color:rgb(0, 127, 64);"></span><span style="font-family:times new roman, new york, times, serif;"><br></span></div><div id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1462845751328_31047" style="color:rgb(0, 0, 0);font-size:13px;background-color:transparent;font-style:normal;"><span style="font-family:times new roman, new york, times, serif;"><br></span></div><div id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1462845751328_31051" style="color:rgb(0, 0, 0);font-size:13px;font-family:arial, helvetica, clean, sans-serif;background-color:transparent;font-style:normal;"><span id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1462845751328_31050" style="font-family:times new roman, new york, times, serif;"><span id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1462845751328_31049" style="line-height:18px;font-weight:100;" class="yiv3576494782m_text">big changes aren't made by large gestures alone - they are made in the little things all of us do every day.</span></span><br style="color:rgb(0, 127, 64);"><a rel="nofollow" style="font-family:times new roman, new york, times, serif;" target="_blank" href="http://www.greenlivinginsideandout.com/index.html"><span style="color:rgb(0, 127, 64);">Green Living - Inside and Out</span></a><br style="color:rgb(0, 127, 64);font-family:times new roman, new york, times, serif;"><span style="color:rgb(0, 127, 64);font-family:times new roman, new york, times, serif;">610-631-5459</span><br></div></div><div id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1462845751328_30311" class="qtdSeparateBR"><br><br></div><div style="display: block;" id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1462845751328_30239" class="yahoo_quoted"> <div id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1462845751328_30238" style="font-family: times new roman, new york, times, serif; font-size: 16px;"> <div id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1462845751328_30237" style="font-family: HelveticaNeue, Helvetica Neue, Helvetica, Arial, Lucida Grande, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;"> <div id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1462845751328_30236" dir="ltr"> <font id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1462845751328_30235" face="Arial" size="2"> <hr id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1462845751328_31193" size="1"> <b id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1462845751328_31617"><span id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1462845751328_31616" style="font-weight:bold;">From:</span></b> Kathi Mestayer <kschachinger@gmail.com><br> <b><span style="font-weight: bold;">To:</span></b> "Muth, Norris (MUTH)" <MUTH@juniata.edu> <br><b><span style="font-weight: bold;">Cc:</span></b> "maipc@lists.maipc.org" <maipc@lists.maipc.org>; "INVASIVES@LISTSERV.UMD.EDU" <INVASIVES@listserv.umd.edu><br> <b><span style="font-weight: bold;">Sent:</span></b> Tuesday, May 10, 2016 2:33 PM<br> <b><span style="font-weight: bold;">Subject:</span></b> Re: [MAIPC] Another attack on invasive plant control<br> </font> </div> <div class="y_msg_container"><br>why not offer him a technical resource/reviewer for when he wants to check his facts?<br clear="none"><br clear="none">> On May 10, 2016, at 11:57 AM, Muth, Norris (MUTH) <<a shape="rect" ymailto="mailto:MUTH@juniata.edu" href="mailto:MUTH@juniata.edu">MUTH@juniata.edu</a>> wrote:<br clear="none">> <br clear="none">> Does anyone know if any individuals or groups have tried to reach out to him?
