I'm not certain whether some cultivars of Autumn Olive are more invasive<br>
than others, but one particular issue with this cultivar is that it<br>
produces more berries and larger berries than other cultivars. Since autumn<br>
olive spreads through wildlife, more attractive, abundant fruits will lead<br>
to an increase in the spread of the invasive.<br>
<br>
Nothing in the description of the cultivar suggests that the seeds are<br>
infertile, but even if they are claimed to be, it can be only a matter of<br>
time before that is worked off (as some ornamental plants have escaped in<br>
the past). Just because it isn't considered invasive right now, doesn't<br>
mean it won't be invasive in the future. Not sure what can be done in VA<br>
about this cultivar, however.<br>
