Wife got me a copy of "The Sea Around Us".<br>

Two things. One, Amy, Carson documents some of the impacts of<br>
"tourism" on ecological communities.<br>
<br>
Secondly, she describes oceans teeming with life that literally makes<br>
the surface boil at night. Has there been a recent work that more or<br>
less looks at these same thing today?<br>
<br>
This book has made me much more aware of what goes on in the oceans.<br>
Easy to see why it was a best seller.<br>
