<div>Completely goofed up! I would be surprised if anyone in Maryland knew of healthy, sustainable populations of Toxicodendron pubescens remaining in the state, especially west of the Eastern Shore. Most folks have never even seen the plant, it’s that uncommon
to rare in our region.

If you look at photos of it in CA, it covers entire shrubs and trees unlike the native dodders. Otherwise it is hard to tell it apart from the native dodders as it sometimes doesn't flower and can only be distinguished using DNA analysis.<o:p></o:p></p>
