More effective is string trimming very close to the ground, but of course then you hammer the native species.
Even better is a grass-specific herbicide, which can exclude Mv and allow most native species to return. If mowing is the only option, mowing year after year after about Aug 15 or once flowering starts, can be helpful in reducing seed production and spread.
CL seeds ripen later than CH seeds, usually in mid to late October in the PA latitude.<u></u><u></u></p><p class="MsoNormal"><u></u> <u></u></p><p class="MsoNormal">Attached here are a bunch of papers, but there are quite a few others.
