<b>Subject:</b> [MAIPC] Local Ordinances Targeting Invasives?</font>
<div> </div>
</div>
<div>
<div dir="ltr">
<div>Hey folks, I would welcome pointers to any local ordinances targeting invasive plants that might serve as models elsewhere. I am aware of various state-level efforts but also that they tend to be more focused on "noxious weeds" that upset farmers and ranchers,
 etc. Which is fine, but not necessarily super helpful if we are trying to control invasives that are more of an issue in urban/suburban/exurban parks and may need local restrictions.</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>It has been awhile, but I have been aware also of efforts in the Pacific Northwest to, for example, target English ivy.</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>Anyway, I appreciate any pointers. Please reply to me directly or the list as a whole if you feel your information could be of broader interest.</div>
