I thought I would weigh in here since my name was mentioned in a previous note to you. The issue of "stream restoration" should be a concern of MAIPC since these projects result in corridors for the rapid spread of non-native invasives.</div>

There have been concerns expressed by some that the process of (finally) taking a hard look at the wisdom of continuing "stream restorations" would somehow completely upend the MS4 Permit process and cause significant delays, but this is simply the sowing of

 unfounded FUD (Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt). There are more than enough alternative stormwater management and MS4-compliant projects to allow jurisdictions to meet their permit obligations.<br>
