<div dir="auto">In terms of seed dispersal, the worst case is to have tall plants with fully ripe seeds that can pop out the pods and disperse more widely. In my opinion, to have a limited-area ground pile of pulled plants is considerably less conducive to dispersal, even if some viable seeds are produced. The question of the allelopahic implications is an interesting one that could merit research. My default assumption is, better to have the plants out of the ground. Hello everyone,</div>
<div style="font-family:"segoe ui westeuropean","segoe ui",helvetica,arial,sans-serif;font-size:12pt;color:rgb(0,0,0)">
Does anyone have experience pulling garlic mustard and piling it on site? I am having a large volunteer event to pull it, and am limited in how much we can cart out. I'm hoping if we pile it up it will decompose and not reroot or spread. Has anyone had a positive
or negative experience if not bagging and removing?</div>
