[MAIPC] Triclopyr vs Glyphosate

A perhaps basic (and I hope appropriate) question to the forum:

What are the bulletpoint differences between triclopyr and glyphosate? Is
one vastly less toxic than the other? On the minute scale (single
residence, invasive hedgerow), is there any major argument for one over the
other?

The specific situation is a homeowner who received two invasive removal
bids with a large price difference, glyphosate contractor being cheaper by
40%. Does it make any difference with the following details: an organic
vegetable garden down-slope? A kid roaming around?
