a friend who recently bought property on Mason's Neck has 3  questions:
1) why do Fairfax Co. regulations re: owners/managers of  "RPAs" (is  that 
"resource protection areas"?) not urge the owner/manager to remove  invasive 
plants? Instead, they have to get a permit to remove them ...  I  can 
understand that the County wants to control the methods used ...
2) Why is there no list of invasive plants on either the paperwork for  
RPAs or at least on a website? And is the list restricted to  
Virginia-designated noxious weeds? It should be broader!
 
Finally - can any of your recommend a company for invasive plant removal  
in Fairfax County (under permit)?
