[MAIPC] Fwd: Microstegium cutting

Wow! I didn't know about cleistogamous flowers in stilt grass. Are they
ever below ground? How high on the stalk? Are they visually different
from the ch flowers? (anyone have a picture?) And while we're on the
subject: does anyone know how long stilt grass seeds remain viable in the
seed bank? This plant is a major challenge to restoration of the Drew U
Forest Preserve here in NJ.

Thanks,
Sara Webb
