When we did cut stump with 20% glyphosate, we sawed at ground level to avoid
objects for people to trip over. Re-sprouting did not occur. We applied the
herbicide immediately after sawing.

Subject: [MAIPC] advice for removing bradford pear
Anyone have any best practices or advice for removing bradford pears from
sidewalk plantings? How much do we need to worry about re-sprouting from any
inaccessible residual root material?
