[MAIPC] Invasive Species training June 7th

You are invited to the 2018 Invasive Species training hosted by the
National Capital Region EPMT (Exotic Plant Management Team) and the
NCR-PRISM (National Capital Region Partnership for Regional Invasive
Species Management. Stay tuned for more information about the NCR-PRISM. It
is a new organization that is just now forming and it replaces the DC-CWMA.

Approximately 8:30a-3:30p

*Audience*
This training is designed for natural resource and maintenance staff from
NPS and partners as well as very active volunteers. A draft agenda is
attached.

There is no cost to attend but you will need to register to attend.

*Pesticide re-certification credits*
We will be offering Pesticide recertification credits in the following
states and categories. This is what we will request:

   - DC: 5-Aquatic Weeds, 6-Right of Way
   - WV: 3, 4A, 6, 7, 11, 12, 13
   - PA: - 00-core, PC, 09, 10, 18, 23
   - VA (requested): - 2-Forest Pest, 5A Aquatic, 6-Right of Way,
   60-Registered Technician
   - MD: 1A-Agricultural Plant, 2-Forest, 3A-Ornamental Plants – Exterior,
   3C-Turf, 5-Aquatic, 6-Right-of-Way, 9-Weed, and 10-Regulatory Demonstration
   and Research

*Location*
Fort Dupont Park Activity Center, Washington DC

*Lunch *
Participants should bring a bag lunch as there are no other food options
within range. A water bottle is also suggested.

*Safety*
Please bring sunscreen and water. Wear closed-toed shoes or boots and long
pants.
