Toni, there is no reason to think HWA has disappeared. It is probably lower in numbers since there are fewer hemlocks around - but why provide bait?

Hi Everyone:
Recently a landscape designer told me that she has been using hemlocks for awhile now without problems.  This makes me wonder if the woolly adelgid is less of a threat these days?  I have reluctantly avoided installing hemlocks, but would love to, if they had a chance of success.  Any updates on the status of this problem?
Thanks for your help.
