Risa: We regularly use corn gluten on the grit pathways at the NC Botanical Garden. It works, but timing is crucial since it degrades quickly. If you can anticipate when garlic mustard seeds typically germinate - apply a week or two before then.

Subject: [MAIPC] Corn gluten

Hello, has anyone had any experience using corn gluten as a weed seed suppressant?
As Volunteers at a community park we’re not allowed to use any herbicides so we thought this might be a good alternative.
