[MAIPC] Corn gluten

I only tested it once, to no effect on stiltgrass at 1180 lb/ac (2002). Sorry - many of the details I learned then are foggy-to-lost, but a few things to consider: requires high rates, at weed control rates it functions as a nitrogen fertilizer. Plus, it functions primarily as root inhibitor, so I suspect it needs to be applied in advance of germination to be present in the germination zone.

A little time in Google Scholar reading works by the patent developer (Nick Christians, Iowa State University) will give you reliable information.
