WHOAAAA!

To clarify 100%, this is a dead insect, right? It should probably still be reported to the Virginia DACS, and maybe also to Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture.

I was just cleaning up from dinner and could not have been more surprised to find a dead spotted lantern fly in our sink.  The only thing I can imagine is that it came out of a head of leaf lettuce we washed tonight, which came from Lancaster, PA.  We bought the lettuce at Mom’s market 2 days ago.  Photo attached.

Has anyone else had this happen?  Any idea what we should do next??
