[MAIPC] Virtual meeting of the Ohio Invasive Plants Council

Hi everyone,

The Ohio Invasive Plants Council will hold its annual meeting virtually on October 15th, 2021 from 9 am until noon. This meeting is free to all interested individuals. The meeting will start with updates from OIPC President, Jennifer Windus, and from Dr. Theresa Culley, head of the OIPC Assessment team. Following their success at the last OIPC Research Conference, we are excited to again present Rapid Updates from land managers from across Ohio, this time featuring: Mark Warman from the Cleveland Metroparks, LaRae Sprow from Metroparks Toledo, Emily Crocket and Holly Latterman from The Dawes Arboretum, Chris Roshon from Preservations Parks Delaware County, and Shelby Ashcraft from Five Rivers Metropark. Speakers will give short updates on some of their invasive plant management projects. Finally, Dr. Bethany Bradley from the University of Massachusetts will give a research talk entitled, "Breaking Down Barriers to Proactive & Consistent Risk Assessments of Invasive Plants."
