Does anyone have experience with drones - quadcopters for invasive plant research of a landscape?  I'm thinking it may help me get a better sense of the location of various invasive plants, within a species and across species, in small areas of 1/2 acre to 5 acres.  I am thinking reasonable resolution color stills of a plot of land, not movies. I presented 2 PPTs at NENHC 2015 this past weekend.  There were nothing spectacular, but still solid presentations of work I did the past 18 months.  PPTs are at www.slideshare.net/rtgardner3.  The NENHC conferences are a good venue to present research.  This year there were @ 100 presentations over the 2 days of the conference by a large group of presenters from undergrad to those with 30+ years experience in natural history.                                                                                                                              Richard Gardner
