[MAIPC] MAIPC Digest, Vol 106, Issue 5

For what it's worth, I have found that stiltgrass can still live underneath
the Perilla. I pulled up a large patch of Perilla yesterday, and found a
whole bunch of stiltgrass hiding underneath it. That particular bunch of
stiltgrass until then had avoided my notice, weeding hands, and
Rodeo-filled spray bottle. So this could be seen as a cooperative
arrangement between the two, rather than a competitive one.
Non-scientifically speaking, of course.
