Hi Kathy and Don,
It all counts. Because the outcome is state based legislation, I would contact both of you state delegates, your state Senator, our Governor and the MD Secretary of Agriculture. It probably wouldn’t hurt to notify your county executive and county council representative, so they are aware of the issue.
You rock, Ginger

Susan Lee, my Maryland State Senator, who is also the Majority Whip? Ariana Kelly, my Maryland State House Representative? Senators Chris van Hollen and Ben Cardin? Congressman Jamie Raskin, my House Representative?

She is very interested in learning about Delaware's recent legislation as well as what our neighboring states of Virginia and Pennsylvania are doing so that a proposal can be made for the next legislative session.

I am relatively new to MISC and don't know the history of how Maryland enacted the legislation that is currently on the books, but I am interested in learning how to strengthen MISC's advisory role to put more teeth into MD regs. Perhaps we could follow a path like Delaware has done. https://delawareinvasives.net/?page_id=68
