Good for you! Keeping invasives at bay is never easy.
I've been volunteering at Cunningham Falls State Park in Frederick County,
MD, and at Frederick County parks. After a few-months pause, volunteers
went back to CF Park, focusing on removing invasives, most often along the
Falls trail in the park. We have focused mainly on wineberry, barberry and
garlic mustard, which are all reduced in the areas on which we focused, but
not eliminated. Stiltgrass was abundant there last week, sadly.
County parks have just recently allowed volunteers back for organized
events. Today was the first park-organized event at Fountain Rock Park. I
planted lots of black-eyed Susans (donated via Cunningham Falls!) around
the park buildings.
