I have found triclopyr to be effective, and that any manual manipulation just causes more of it to grow, sometimes popping up 10 feet away from where it was pulled or dug! Most evil of any invasive I've ever met!

Researching online resources yields limited results. It seems the best strategy is to manually remove the rhizomes. Many commenters in a variety of gardening type websites and forums indicate that glyphosate is ineffective.
Does anyone know of a good resource for control guidelines for this plant? Any/recommendations/experience controlling this plant with herbicides?
Thank you,Beth Mizell
